Public Enemy come to Cork!
These guys changed my life and are defo one of the reaosns why I am DJing today. We've had a lot of hip-hop legends (Run DMC, De La, Flash, Bambataa, De La Soul etc) but Public Enemy are as good as it gets and they still rock an unreal live show! I can't wait-Check out my Black on Red show on Saturday for some classics!

ReplyDeleteI remember being blown away by their first album back in the day (shite, like way back in the day :-) and they also made the cover of NME at the time, I think they may even have been the first Hip Hop group on the cover of NME but I'm not sure.
Definitely one to check out but I have to admit I'm a little bit worried that they will be crap as most of their stuff after their first three albums was poor. That said, I've never seen them live so maybe they'll be great!
