Fair point but I never said he was-I'm judging him on his music and his legacy in what I know about-a lot of the greats have personal things that can't be admired-two of my own other favs, Marvin Gaye and Miles Davis, had many dislikeable traits and behaviour that can't be admired. A lot of the most talented people do unfortunately-in his defense he was aoso responsible for the many of the biggest feminist anthems of the 60's (by the likes of Lyn Collins, Marva Whitney and Vicki Anderson)-whether this was a contradiction with his personal behaviour is the question, but i'm gonna judge him on his music-thanks for the comments though folks, always good to get some feedback!
